By all accounts the 2015 Health Care/Open Enrollment Seminar was a resounding success on October 22, with about 70 ASURA members and guests attending our first seminar held at the Tempe History Museum. David Parra, AARP state director of community outreach, presented an excellent session on Medicare coverage and fielded questions with his trademark clarity, enthusiasm, and good humor. Elizabeth Shaefer and Pat Klein followed with their respective presentations on ADOA and ASRS health plan coverages for next year and addressed many individuals' questions both during and after the session. Here's to a healthy 2016 for all!
